a shield against psychological suffering and intellectual stagnation i have found is viewing your thoughts as open-ended, revisable models (provisional), rather than static absolute truths the "looseness" allows you to effortlessly adapt when reality contradicts your expectations. when people… read more

So there I was, just mindlessly scrolling through YouTube, when a video pops up, “Weird Remote Jobs That Pay Surprisingly High.” Naturally, my curiosity won. Next thing I know, I’m sitting there laughing my ass off because, apparently, one of those jobs is a Fortune Cookie Writer. Like seriously?… read more

Thanks everyone who has been following along for the support and kind messages :) I'll likely keep updating here as I get more of my starts going and what… read more

One thing I enjoy doing is updating Pokéstop photos, to try and get a nicer view of what's there. And I think this is one of my favourites. I can never quite capture the moment perfectly, but the sky here was just top notch. Does anyone else do any Pokéstop maintenance? I'm forever tweaking names… read more
I've been seeing a trend of companies either revamping or updating old school MMORPGs, like EverQuest Legends or WoW Forever. Are any of you considering playing these classic games with new mechanics or do you prefer the modern retail versions?

At my limit with the person I looked at as a Work Mom for 10 years. I am SO SORRY that I'm not an Acended Perfect being with a constantly updating Eidtetic Memory, but while I am just a simple human like her (who makes mistakes and forgets things, just like her) show me ONE time, ONE TIME where I… read more
If you are to learn something new, what would you love to learn?
So I love Gmod it has so many cool things and you could potentially turn it into any game. However I find its quite outdated. Not as many modders and players, "old engine/software" and most great mods having constant errors and no fixes or updates in ages. So I've tried finding a new upgraded… (edited) read more

Somehow I think it's hard to explain to people since my type of unlearn is different 😂 😂 I can see why. When most people hear "unlearn," they imagine replacing one belief with another: > "I used to believe A. Now I believe B." Your internal process sounds more like: > "I used to use A as… read more

It's like having 20 tabs open and not focussing on either of them. Just in the background, running, some updating without your concern and others getting viruses as they buffer. .

Update the plan before progress starts, changing it for you. Early adjustments create more controlled progress and fewer unexpected changes later. Strong planning is not keeping the same plan forever. Strong planning is updating it before progress starts, updating it for you. ✨
⭐ Individuals should be able to understand that real development and learning start when they see the situation differently by themselves. They shouldn't wait for the circumstances to change their perspective. Individuals who only wait for circumstances will have the mindset that they are always… read more

Hey, I'm just redownloading this app and logging back in. I haven't been on it for a couple years apparently, I guess looking back at my old account. I'm about to start updating things and see who I can connect with here, hopefully in the same city as me and make some connections.
