I always date multiple people when I'm single until I find someone I'd like to pursue something more serious with. At that point, it is pertinent to have a conversation about whether you would both like to pursue something more.

Understand that it’s not going to be easy to pull away from them because u were so set on going for them that the sudden halt had put a downer on your momentum and ur emotions as well. If u value this person, take some time away to feel better about urself before talking to them, communication effectively and remember that if this person wasn’t meant to be ur ideal partner, then someone even better is out there and u deserve the best for urself

Gonna be honest I've been in this scenario so I speak from experience. It's painful watching your crush love someone else. Ide confess your feelings to him. However you will be giving him an ego boost, which is good because your supposed to build your partner up. However not in this case. You need to put it in his head that your not going to stick around for him to figure it out who he wants. You already made up your mind on who you want. Make it clear that if he chooses the other girl, your gone. This is how men work mentally.

Or what the nature of the relation we have and what your expectations are.
If they're behaving outside of your desired expectations then its usually best to move on or it will make you into being the blunt damage from your own posture
