I am growing exceedingly weary of hearing the same complaints from men about marriage and divorce, particularly in regards to a woman "taking half" of the man's possessions in a divorce...
I will agree that sometimes divorce court isn't fair to men, however, my annoyance is with the fact that men grow disdain towards women and it's unwarranted because they fail to realize that the divorce court laws were CREATED BY MEN--NOT WOMEN! 🤨 So ask yourselves WHY did men create laws that put OTHER men at such a disadvantage?? Having animosity towards women over the court laws that men created is misplaced anger. Additionally, let's not pretend like ALL of these divorces fall out of the sky. 🤷♀️ I have long term and short term dating experiences with men, along with interacting with them in social, work, public settings , as well as online, and I can say wholeheartedly that women are not 100% to blame. Yes, there are vindictive women with bad characters, but I do not think these women represent the majority of women filing for divorce. Based on all of my experiences with men, especially in relationships, I've witnessed a number of negative behaviors that would result in a relationship disintegrating. Instead of men actively working to fix these negative behaviors, they instead blame women for finally getting fed up with it and leaving them. Men are quick to point to the Bible verse that says women should be "submissive" to their husbands, "but totally gloss over the very next verses that say: "Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it....So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church...." Perhaps if more men followed this Biblical advice, there wouldn't be so many women filing for divorce. This post wasn't created to offend or villanize men and make women sound like angels with no flaws. Women have plenty of bad character flaws they need to work on, too. But this post isn't about women's flaws, it's about men complaining about women taking half of their belongings in a divorce. I hear far more men complaining about a divorce than women, and it's almost always for the same reasons.

It’s also important who gives the mandate. Are women en masse pushing for egalitarian treatment? Most are irreconcilable differences (no fault) Women don’t complain after a divorce because they hardly lose anything. I’m no expert but i know the stats - and the stats are skewed because declarative studies offer no insight. If You are genuinely curious then listen to people who will be more palpable to You: Erin Pizzey, Janice Fiamengo etc

I think you hear more men complaining about divorce because more women are initiating them. I think in the U.S its 80% initiated by women. But yes there shouldnt be disdain for women in my opinion (edited)

I will agree that sometimes divorce court isn't fair to men, however, my annoyance is with the fact that men grow disdain towards women 1. Womens organizations have actively pressed towards it- not saying it’s super unfair if you have no resources of your own - but why get married then, if you are aware of the infairness then why do you grow weary? and it's unwarranted because they fail to realize that the divorce court laws were CREATED BY MEN--NOT WOMEN! 🤨 So ask yourselves WHY did men create laws that put OTHER men at such a disadvantage?? 2. Because they were chosen to do so - democratic process Having animosity towards women over the court laws that men created is misplaced anger. 3. No- once again, it benefits women, therefore there is no pushback Additionally, let's not pretend like ALL of these divorces fall out of the sky. 🤷♀️ I have long term and short term dating experiences with men, along with interacting with them in social, work, public settings , as well as online, and I can say wholeheartedly that women are not 100% to blame. 4. Nobody except for fanatics says women are100% to blame - even Michael here said that he would speculate 50/50 Yes, there are vindictive women with bad characters, but I do not think these women represent the majority of women filing for divorce. 5. I don’t know , i only know two cases closely - my parents and my divorced friend , where women were extremely vindictive and one when the women was super easy going and rational. So to extrapolate my experience:2:1 , of course it’s a bs stat , but just my exp Based on all of my experiences with men, especially in relationships, I've witnessed a number of negative behaviors that would result in a relationship disintegrating. 6. I agree, but yet most negative behaviours from women are omitted Instead of men actively working to fix these negative behaviors, they instead blame women for finally getting fed up with it and leaving them. 7.Some times presumable - but if you marry Steven Spielberg and you grow tired of him- do you take his 100mil? You remember the backlash to Adele paying? Men are quick to point to the Bible verse that says women should be "submissive" to their husbands, "but totally gloss over the very next verses that say: "Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it....So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church...." 8. I don’t care for that, generally i agree but i think not taking proper care of family would be a fault reason for divorce. Perhaps if more men followed this Biblical advice, there wouldn't be so many women filing for divorce. This post wasn't created to offend or villanize men and make women sound like angels with no flaws. Women have plenty of bad character flaws they need to work on, too. But this post isn't about women's flaws, it's about men complaining about women taking half of their belongings in a divorce 9. So you assume most men don’t love the woman they’re with. Therefore the woman can have his belongings. . I hear far more men complaining about a divorce than women, and it's almost always for the same reasons. 10. Maybe there is a reason for that (edited)

Is it strange?
I'm 32 and I've not really been in a serious romantic relationship. Is this a red flag/ ick etc lol 🤷♀️ I have lived a pretty low key and sheltered life and didn't start dating until my mid twenties. For the love of god, show your real self in photos
Don’t try to apply a bunch of filters to be sexy with perfect skin and butterflies. We know that’s not real and it’s useless. Don’t show a bunch of carefully posed photos. If there aren’t some personality pics, how the hell am I going to get engaged? People have different standards of beauty;... read more

Ghosting
I've gotta say I think ghosting is probably one of the worst things to happen to someone, you try so hard to get to know someone and you think things are going well and then they suddenly disappear for 24 hours, now your wondering if they are ok or if something happened

If you get texts from someone else, and you just don't reply back. Note you're wasting someone else's time. And you're showing a lack of dedication. Two things needed for a healthy relationship.

Effort
In any relationship people put in effort. it takes effort to make a relationship work. Yes, sorry but relationships take work... everyone should take note of their partners effort compared to their own effort and if they don't reciprocate you need to separate.

Communication
It seems everyone wants their partner to communicate well. I've seen so many profiles, from 18 to 60, with that as an important part. Maybe the issue isn't communicating itself, but how you communicate. You want communication, but use the words of what you don't want and never mention what you do... read more

When our vibrational frequency changes, some relationships might end.
The people in our lives often reflect where we are emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Relationships tend to form based on the energy we carry, and as we grow or change, that energy shifts. When this happens, some people will naturally grow with us, while others may drift away. It’s not always... read more

When you break up
Keep in mind. when your ex talks, it was never their fault it was your fault. we all have to live with that. it does not mean you should ignore the no contact rules though since being in touch just means you will get to hear how much of your fault it is/was
