One sounds kind of selfish The other I'm not even sure what that is: Defeatist? Given up? Desperate? Or is it just hopeful and selfless? A change of perspective is probably what we all need when ot comes to relationships. Alot of us tend to go in with expectations of things we want out of a relationship as we think we know what we want, but how does that fair for the other person? They can then see you as toxic or inconsiderate because of your single minded goal of getting what you want. But wouldn't it be better to just hope to get along and that what they like is something you can get along with or maybe enjoy. Everyone is different and has different tastes and sometimes those clash due to one person's ideal against another's. I may just be rambling on as it's late and mind is not half there, but there is some kind of wisdom in this I hope you find.
