I don't have a problem with women making the first move, but i do think men should be willing to make the first move considering alot of women won't be willing to do the same. Even if they are interested, they'd rather you make the first move.

If we are just referring to reaching out/say hi type of first move - personally I don’t mind, but I need to be sure that he is available, so in a dating app, yes. (I have zero interest in completing with other women) Asking him to meet, instead of waiting for him to ask? I will do this too (but I have to be really interested in meeting him, cos I don’t like going out 🤷🏻‍♀️) Lucky for me I don’t do these often cos I don’t usually find people attractive (or unattractive)

I don't recommand it. First, it can mean handling an embarassing rejection. Second, if they wanted to they would. Third, there's a possibility that they may be intressted and shy, but a man who waits for a woman to take the first step is generally passive & lack leadership, aka emasculinated which is unattractive to most women. Forth, males are the one who propose, and nobody says this is social conditionning, and we should take taking the first step in the same way. Basicly from personal experience; I don't recommand it

I think that women that make the first move are brave and that's quite impressive per itself, and I usually go with my feelings in case it happens with me. I tend to spectacularly fail whenever I make the first move but not like I never did, so yeah, I'm a tad bit scared but I face it like a champ(or chump)

I seldom get attention... So if a woman makes the first move, that does alot for me in many ways. Especially the part where I don't have to work hard to find out if she is interested or not. So some of the "Hard Part" is out of the way. No guessing.

It's kinda common making the first step for me. It shows you're interested in the person and want them to know it. Personally, I don't make it unless I feel that the person vibes with me, but I feel happy doing it I guess

I appreciate it. I don't have any problem doing the first move, but most women act like we already know and love them. The average male-women interaction feels just like what you would see on animal planet, a male putting on the show of his life while the female just stands there existing. It is really not much different than talking to an AI. So, I see a girl making the first move as a display of character.

I like it when a woman makes the first move. And when I want to start up a chat, if I don't see anything in the profile or pics that gives me any ideas for what to say, I probably just won't say anything. It shouldn't feel forced. So if instead she reaches out to me first, I take that as a good sign 🙌

Since I'm very shy at first I pref the woman to make the first move.. also we don't know when woman are playing games to laugh on us "I was just being friendly", "oh you're so cute, you got it wrong" and other things like that.. It's refreshing having a woman making thru it

I prefer women making the first move. It's a refreshing change of pace. Plus I dislike having to wonder if a woman is already in a relationship or seeing someone. Nobody likes rejection, so if a woman approaches me, then I know she's interested (no I'm sure I'll suspect that she just wants to use me as a meal ticket or get something out of me).

Honestly I appreciate this. Dating is an ever evolving dynamic, especially virtually. To have someone else make the first move shows real interest and gets my attention more so.

Society has taught us that a proper lady will not make the first move. I think this ancient taboo has eroded and is now accepted by most people. Personally, I like her to make the first move. It means that I don't have to work for her attention because I've already obtained it.
