Hypocrisy

I've been here less than a month and have already concluded that this app is a majority of fakers, pretenders, wannabes and psychological deviants. If this isn't you, great; have a fulfilling day, enrich those who are accepting, learn from those who are willing and don't forget to stop and just breathe occasionally. In my short time here, I have had more than ten posts from individuals claiming #deepconversation, #psychology, #selfimprovement, #personalgrowth and the like just disappear. I'm not certain if the poster deleted them or they've blocked me after I've posted counterpoint. One self-proclaimed educator decided that a hiatus from the app was in order, which may not have anything to do with our interaction but the timing is suggestive. In fairness, we are still following each other and the post wasn't deleted, so I will grant exemption from hypocrisy. As to the rest and anyone else that this applies to who only post to get "love" points, only want to surround themselves with sycophants, are otherwise unable to agree to disagree or even accept that you might be wrong *gasp* but claim intellectual fortitude, you're foolish, ignorant hypocrites. "Hey, Google/Siri/Alexa. Define ignorant." It doesn't mean what you think it does. If your self-proclaimed intellectual or insightful post gets dismantled by one or two comments, wear it; admit with maturity that your perspective is painted by the brush of your own experience and you never thought to consider another. Blocking someone or deleting the post simply because a small light was cast into your darkness is the worst immaturity. Show off that personal growth or deep thoughts hashtag (pound sign if you're a relic like me). Otherwise, take that shite off your profile and stop posting to these groups if you aren't willing to walk the walk. I welcome rebuttals. They will most likely serve my point. However, don't expect a response if that's the case.
