What happened to etiquette and being civilized

I don't claim to be the most cultured individual in history but I've been online a couple years and the parents of the so called informed or internet generations I am including myself in this as a father of 2 young adult and one teenage daughter should be ashamed I am constantly contacted by people who immediately start in with the questions where do I live why am I here they never introduce themselves its so rude and hostile and down right offensive it's like whole generations we're raised like spoiled animals with no manners or respect I am gonna try to make up for my role in this break down of civilization and try to spread good manners from here on out I hope others will join me in this effort but I make no demands or point fingers or try to call any one out this is a world wide problem that the only solution is to live as an example and teach that way so I am Jeff Wolfe I am a 48 year old retired soldier I write poetry now and I am an ordained minister I never had much of a formal education so I apologize for the lack of punctuation I don't want to spread negativity any more we all know about the bad in the world all we do is give it power when we point it out and spread it further down the road so let's spread the positivity in the world the same way I started this post talking about a lack of manners and I want to change the focus of this to something more positive and maybe it will have a more positive effect I have noticed some positive things also since coming online when I first started posting my poetry I'm sure it was recieved as immature and any one could rhyme words like I do the other poems I saw online especially here were people posting other famous poets words I have seen more poems posted that are written by people here their own words and if me posting mine helped you be brave enough to share yours then I'm so happy and I have achieved more than I ever thought possible I am not trying to take away from any ones written words this is how we achieve immortality by posting something no matter how insignificant you think it might be because maybe no one in your lifetime will acknowledge what you wrote but 100 or 500 years from now your words could be the spark that leads to amazing things so don't think that you don't have any thing to contribute or no one needs to know what you think write your words and post them and they are forever thats my message to you all thank you for your time and be kind to each other we are all in this together and no one person can do it all by themselves we are the human race its time we start acting like it

I briefly mentioned we might be witnessing the symptoms of the collapse of civilisation the other day, and they mentioned the internet is great and helps people grow up to be good people, in so many words.

Don't get me wrong, the internet can be useful source of wonderful information, if used wisely, but most kids aren't trained to use it wisely and they are pretty much being raised by it these days.

Considering the internet is like a giant cesspool of unfiltered misery and toxicity , this was my reaction to that interesting take on the health of future generations. 😂
