Recommendations for VR?

I haven't been giving it enough attention (probably because I tend to get vr headaches even with the deluxe audio strap, any tips?). I've considered getting a valve index, is the upgrade worth it from the original vive in terms of ergonomics & fov? I love pretty ambiance/environment/graphics and mini games. I really like the archery in 'the lab' because you can improve your shots with proper archery technique/posture. I do like the immersion of horror but I don't like being faced with an enemy I can't attack. Any recommendations?
