So, I think I want to start doing Let's Plays on Youtube because streaming has been a little difficult lately! 
I haven't played many games, so I want to know what games would be good to play and post.

Skyrim, Fallout for extreme immersion (and action).

The walking dead, Life is Strange for great story but more chill.

HOI4, EU4, Civilization 6 if you're into conquering the world.

Depends if you're doing it for enjoyment or for content. if you wanna be popular you gotta watch steam like a hawk and play the newest games imo, that or choose a franchise and stick to it super hard

An RPG or adventure game would be good for lets plays, I would recommend Life is Strange for the story twists it would be good for youtube

Okay let’s break this down into parts.

1. Do you always want to be chasing trends or do you want to build a community?

2. What have you tried streaming on twitch that worked for you? Can you think of a way to bring that to YouTube?

3. YT and Twitch are both incredible places that will eat you up and spit you out. If you are already chasing trends or don’t have a solid idea of how you want to start it could be very rough for you.

Take it from someone who tried YouTube and Twitch. If you want to hate games keep playing them for other people. If you want to love what you are creating? Well, create what you love. It’s so simple sounding but it’s a very hard thing to do.
