It's been a year since I got out of a domestic violence situation and I get stronger everyday (edited)

Lack of emotion
So I went through hell with someone who was a covert narcissist and broke me apart. Even months after the situation I just don't really feel much in the way of emotions unless I'm high, is this normal?
