Trying to power through

Been in a depressive rut with soul crushing loneliness and no motivation for weeks now. Trying my hardest to get out of it by forcing myself to build models with music on full blast. I just want to go back to being the miserable old hermit skulking about his cave again.

Been alone so long

That now I protect my time. Going on a date seems like a waste of time, but if she wanted to hang out with me, then she would have to do it at the expense of my available time... unacceptable! (edited)

How does everyone find fun activities to do on a Saturday night? As someone who doesn't have many friends and is single with a capital S. Dating hasn't been very easy for me and I want to be brave, go out and have a good time on my own. I don't know where to start though.
