I'm trying to get a better grasp on the fundamentals of development as humans and I would like to bounce some ideas of my fellow boo's. Developmentally there are milestones that all people go through. There is a baseline that I think all people could agree on, and if we focus, while broading our ideas we could come at least come to a consensus. Like 0-6 months... When we are all our most vulnerable, we must be feed, protected, cleaned, and provided health care. There is 0% involvement in any real gender, or societal influence. Blue? Pink? It changes nothing about our identities. There is no question of sex or violence or religion. Should religions even be allowed to make any claim on children this age? Circumsicions and baptisms and the such? There are so many layers to it a good discussion would help me and maybe others at least have more information. And this goes on for each phase. What age is sex appropriate to introduce? A girls first period? A boys first time ejaculating? Is it set to an age or a level of maturity? What about violence? Do we restrict it or ignore it? What effect does watching death, have on respecting life? I'd like to have at least a general age range and the optimum amount of categories to summarize each facet of human influence and development.
