Randomly Blocked
I was having a nice conversation with someone, about musicals and theater, but then they randomly blocked me with no warning! Why do people just block others randomly in the middle of conversations that they seemed to be enjoying? If you weren't really enjoying it, wouldn't you attempt to change the subject before resorting to blocking someone? I can't think of a "normal" reason why this person would block me unless they just suddenly noticed that we don't live near each other and decided they would rather talk to someone closer? Even though Boo seems to be clearly better than any other dating app out there, I still haven't successfully made any friends or gone on any dates with people on Boo. Either the seemingly nice people just block me randomly, or I find real creeps that I end up blocking myself. It's difficult to find any "normal" people who want to make a real connection.

The issue with this app (or maybe all dating apps) when it comes to that is there is no way to tell. The person could have messaged saying the reason but before you read the message they unmatched you and the whole Convo is gone. It would be nice if there was a farewell message to give when unmatching. I have messaged one of my matches that never really chatted with me that I was planning to unmatch with her soon. She unmatched with me herself, which was fine, but not everyone thinks about doing that and then you get ghosted. Funny how this app is boo 👻. I feel like there should be a difference between unmatching and blocking.
