Question

It is not something I am comfortable with due to some really negative experiences in that past. So why when I make it a hard line in the sand that it is not something I want to enter into, do the people I date insist that I should just try it? Or try to obfuscate the fact that they are in an enm relationship. Why do people feel they can just brush my feelings aside just so they can get what they want. I make it very obvious right at the beginning of every relationship I pursue that it is not up for debate. Monogamy or I can't be a part of it.

Just why?

Just spit on other's opinion. Be more selfish with people or they will use your weakness. Perversions have to be equally accepted, not tied on. And if someone stubbornly annoy you with what you strictly against of - it is not your match just.

You've established your boundaries right from the get-go, which is a good thing. If people know this and don't respect it, they're not respecting you so it has to be arse out the door for them. Sleeping around is fine for some people, but not everyone can multi task.

I would not advise you to keep being in relationship with people who don't respect your opinion, the fact that you don't want to try something must be enough, you don't even have to have any reasons for that
