a comic i'm writing titled 'The Thin', illustrated by Silvano Beltramo, is a psychological drama thriller dark hero story centered around Aidan Carr, a young man struggling with severe depression and isolation, while trying to manage his mental health recovery. He becomes a vigilante known as "The Thin," a creepy, gothic horror-inspired figure with a skeletal grin mask, who takes matters into his own hands to fight crime in the city of Maylem. Aidan's motivations are rooted in his personal trauma, particularly the accidental severe injury of his mother, which was caused by thugs associated with the central antagonist, Vandal. Aidan's journey as The Thin is complicated by his inner battle with his mental health, making it a tense mix of heroism and self-doubt. He uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to cope, but his role as a vigilante also acts as a dangerous coping mechanism. As The Thin, Aidan becomes a symbol of fear, but he struggles with the implications of his actions and the balance between seeking justice and maintaining his mental health
