Ethics of using generated AI art
Hello gamedevs! Many of us have noticed that AI art generators such as Midjourney are becoming very relevant lately. There were huge debates in many gamedev communities on the legality and ethics of using AI generated art in developing video games. I would love to know your opinion about this matter and whether you'll be using these generated assets in your future projects!

It should be a tool to enhance one's own creativity, but not replace it. For the time being, there'll always need to be a human element added into the equation, whether it's the art, music, dialogue, and whether or not you're training the AI with works from yourself, public domain, or otherwise. I've found Chatgpt to be a helpful assistant with a lot of things. I managed to train it to read and analyze my sheet music (albeit, it forgot after about a week, short term memory and all). That being said, I wouldn't want it to take the reigns and become the main creative driving force, either. Let it help you, but don't let it run you. That's how Cyberdyne took over the world.
