I have a tendency to restart games after I haven't played them for a while. It drives some friends nuts, but this would be why 😅 If I lose touch with a game, I don't remember anything about where I was!

I just run up to the nearest enemy about 20 times until I remember the controls, if I've forgotten the plot I read a cliff notes or watch a let's play at 2x speed up until the bit I'm at.

Morrowind had a great journal system but most other games.. yeah it's hard to pick up where you left off. I struggle with relearning the controls more though.
