It feels like every game has gambling and loot boxes in it lately...

Especially the biggest PC games, but also more and more other games. Mobile gaming is a hellhole of pay-to-win and other monetization. I just heard upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage is going to be adults-only because it has "real gambling". Is this ever going to stop spreading, or is this the future of gaming?

Yeah, most AAA games aren't the same because of this. At least there are a lot of Indie games and some AAA without it.
