No kidding, this. My eyes got a little watery this afternoon. I could make jokes about the data bits being why - cause that totally made my heart swell, but it was one of my favorite humans knowing me well enough to help me prepare with what I’d feel comfortable with. I can communicate with an HVAC guy just fine, but it’s the anxiety and overthinking and internal scrambling that occurs from handling a task I have zero preference toward. And granted, I was helping her out, but.. she was thoughtful enough to present enough information to satisfy the questions I might have - in ways I’d want to know “just in case it’s needed” [yet knowing it won’t be]. So. To answer your question: feeling genuinely understood in ways that weren’t thought to be.. a thing. That causes eyes to water a bit; It really catches me off-guard.
