Creative/critical problem

I already know what I would do but I'm curious if anyone had a solution as well. Say you are flying a kite really high at the beach and but you want to keep flying it back at the beach house. The problem is there are telephones and wires preventing this. Without reeling it in how would you get it passed the wires so you can bring it home?

Well one time probably in the past and out of curiosity I put a key in the middle of the string then flew the kite up but then it hit me unexpectedly after a flash of thought that maybe a strong storm could lift me over the power lines to the other side but it didn't quite go well after the kite and string turn into a neon light
