Please tell me. Why is it so easy for some people to find love and not others. Is there such a thing as happily ever after for people like me? Is it because I'm not pretty enough? Not smart enough? Well whatever it is I'm just too tired to go with this. I'm raising my flag.

💯 I feel the exact same way. I can't say it any better my self. I've been alone along time. Watching my friends and family grow and have children and wife's. Living life with a partner. Ive been single for 10 years. Keep ya head up, others put there just like you feeling the same pain you do.

There is no happily ever after. . . Period. That's a complete fabrication and illusion. Some people have an easier time of it. It's the ones who's parents understood relationships and modelled the proper behavior to actually do it when you become an adult. Approximately 55% of us (myself included) did NOT learn these things. And the only way we will learn is when we are under stress in the relationship AT THE TIME OF THE PROBLEM. We can learn. In fact we do. . . But happiness is not a permanent thing. If you have happiness, you also have to have sadness and misery. The goal is sustained contentment. That's a realistic state of being. And it's not easy.
