Yeah I used to always worry about how much sleep I was getting because I don't like sleeping and I tend to under sleep. It took me years to stop worrying about it and stop thinking about how many hours of sleep I was going to be getting, recalculating every 10 or 20 minutes as I stayed up for hours and hours. I'd usually start calculating around 7 hours and I'd end up laying down with 1-2 hours left. Once I stopped trying to hold myself to an obligation of getting a certain amount of sleep I felt so much better. Even when I do under sleep I feel fine now. The self-imposed guilt about not doing what I felt I should do was hurting me way more than the under sleeping ever could.
