Finding the One
In a world where shadows blend with light, I wandered through the endless night, Seeking a love pure, divine, A soul to echo mine. Through storms of sorrow, fields of pain, I crossed deserts, danced in rain, Dreaming of a tender grace, A smile to light the darkest space. Then you appeared, a whispered prayer, With eyes that spoke of skies so fair, A touch that melted walls of stone, A heart that called me home. You are the moon in my midnight, The dawn that ends my longest fight, In your embrace, I found my peace, A love that brings eternal ease. I’d scale the highest peaks of fear, Dive into depths where doubts appear, Face every demon, bear every scar, To love you as you are. For you, my heart’s devotion flows, A river where the wild rose grows, I’ll guard you through each passing tide, With you, I’ll always abide. Your laughter is my sacred song, In your joy, I feel I belong, I’ll be the shield against your pain, The comfort in your gentle rain. With every breath, my vow renews, To cherish, honor, and to choose, You above all, through life’s grand scheme, You, my love, my endless dream. Together, we’ll face the unknown, Two hearts entwined, never alone, In you, I’ve found my truest part, The one who holds my fearless heart. So here I stand, my promise clear, To love you, hold you ever near, Respect and cherish, every day, In every single, tender way.
