Yes, to an extent. It depends on the situation. For example, being cheated on (or betrayed) is traumatizing as hell. I would forgive them but that’s a permenant disqualification for 2nd chances. No way, they knew what they were doing. This is especially true if the friendship or relationship was on good terms. (edited)

Everyone deserves second chances... If the Divine can give us second or never ending chances why we human don't?!! As long as the person deserving to be given a second chance... We just need to be wise, be smart, and know our limits and boundaries! Sometimes second chances can we worth while... Better to take chance than regretting, as life is too short to be unhappy! Yes. A lot of times it works out good. Sometimes it ends bad and you regret giving another chance. But you'll never know how it will turn out unless you give it a go. Life can be surprising. (edited)

Sure, yes, but that's heavily dependent on the situation. Second chances are important for genuine mistakes or miscommunication - if it's a pattern of behavior (historical, regular, consistent), I think it's important to let people show you who they are, too.

To an extent, yes, I feel like I'm a typically forgiving person, but for thing like cheating, and such, no dice. For relationships at least I have something of a twice rule. If we break up in good terms once, then I can try again with that person. If the second time doesn't work out or we ended on bad terms the first time, then it will never happen again.

Yes, because everyone has the potential to grow. I’m sure we’ve all been given a second chance at some point. That being said, discretion is great. Be wise with who let in your inner circle. You know if a person is good for you or not. You can forgive someone and not give the ability to hurt you again. It depends on the situation. 💚
