Friendzoned…

Ever liked and flirted someone. It was nice at first, flirty. But began to be hot and cold. Turns out we were just having mixed signals… After it was getting more serious, sorta dating and me telling I was liking her for a while. She eventually told me the truth, she just liked the attention. She already had a boyfriend; She liked me as well but didn’t want me to leave so she didn’t want to say anything. It stings… I don’t know what to do and how to feel after that as I did geniuinely like her. It would of been easier, if she said she had bf first, before anything progressed further. (Seriously, why would you show you want to date, but was already taken?) Sometimes I wish I wasn’t as blind and people were straight up honest. Edit: TLDR - Friendzoned in the most brutal way. Flirted with girl for a long time, even to the point of me telling I loved her. Turns out she had a boyfriend. But she wanted to remain friends still as she likes the attention I give (edited)
