The problem with this approach is, if your treat someone like a friend, they'll get Friendzoned. Some people can form romantic relationships out of friendships, but most people, especially men, don't, and completely seperate friendships from romantic relationships, as well as treating friends much differently than potential partners. I've had female friends who were queer and/or in relationships, so with no possibility of dating them or even sleeping with them, I've treated them just like men, including telling them the blunt brutal truth, not letting them get away with BS, and holding them responsible when they mess up or treat others wrong. Most women don't want that. Honestly, most women want their asses kissed by guys and value feelings over truth. This is also why some people, of either gender, value friendships over romantic relationships; they're seen as more genuine and valuable. Which is why there's a clear separation between potential friends and potential partners for so many people. Mainly, friendships offer less risk and more honesty that usually doesn't work when trying to date someone (especially men trying to date women.) (edited)

I dont think that should be surprising... Some are here just to flirt or date yeah they are two different things... But they just look for those... Finding genuine people online its just like searching for a haystack colored needle in a haystack... Its quite rare if anyone finds a someone genuine like that especially on an online platform like Boo... Dont worry sometimes looks can be decieving as well... Ones u think looks like a fuckboy turns out to be the one who has more genuinity.. its Humans always a mystery!!! If u know what i mean!
