I have to admit that trying to get to know people these days is strange. What happened to authentic people who personalities is genuinely them. Ok your Gay or Non-binary, or trans but are you a good person? What you identify as shouldn't be your entire makeup. What's your moral fiber? Do you have integrity? Are you a decent human being? Those are the qualities that matter to me. idc what you identify as as long as you're a decent person. Real recognizes real. Be true to who you are outside of the label and you'll find someone 10 toes down for you. Just my random thoughts I hope no one gets offended by this I'm just expressing my thoughts

I have to say that it feels most of the people nowadays barely have any experiences worth talking about and rotting away with a day to day routine which doesn't seem to make them happy that much. I wanted to meet people and learn their stories so bad only to be dissapointed to find most people cannot even hold a decent conversation

i totally agree with you and that's my stance too. but I've been learning the hard way that having your "labels" in bio is also a shield, it's a way to protect yourself by seeing how other people react to that. being queer o vegan or whatever doesn't make you automatically a nice person, but hating and attacking people for what they are does. it's easier to spot the danger. also, if a person just wants to find a hook up date and is strict with their preferences, it's much less time consuming if they have it stated clearly. i honestly want to avoid being attacked and rejected as much as possible

The problem as I see it is that people tend to think we all want a perfect version of whatever, knowing full well it doesn't exist. So they "tune" themselves hoping to get noticed. Then outright fib! Not a good look if you ask me.
