2yGeneral Question Tips
What kind of questions generally start a conversation, or am I just not interesting enough to talk to? I always comment something like "Hey beautiful 🌹" and right after that in the same sentence, ask questions that relate to their post, like let's say someone enjoys a psychology muse, I would ask "I'm really interested to know more about this psychology muse you mentioned, can we trade thoughts?" "What would your idea of a perfect night be?" "I'd love to know more about your fascination with x,y,z!" I am not here for sex. I'm here for a genuine connection before we both agree we're ready for that. Please let me know what you think! Gimme some tips and pointers based off your experiences. I'm looking for data and no sugar coated responses.

Well saying that you "always" start with "hey beautiful" isn't great.. The questions are alright and you are attempting to start a discussion about something they've mentioned, so props up for reading bios and making the effort, in that context. However, it all sounds very superficial, tbh.. as if to say "I just read this let me repeat it to you". It also depends on what the recipients are here for, it's clear that many people here (no matter the gender) aren't too great at conversations 🥲 Personally, I've previously replied to all sorts of messages, when I was still new ish and making friends, but most I would have spoken to first, on the Booniverse and know that we had at least some similar interests. Not sure if any of this helps 👀🤷🏽♀️ sorry 🥲
Your approach with asking specific questions targeting interests based upon posts or profile is good.. it's the "Hey beautiful" start that's eliminating options for you. That's an immediate decline/block/ignore for more emotionally mature women. Better to comment/compliment a photo but not appearance. Or ask questions about pets photos or compliment nature photos and Segway I to questions about the outdoors etc.
If you say "hey beautiful" to me, I discard you without looking at your profile. It indicates that that is the main thing you focused on. Most guys don't bother to read the profile, I'm glad you do, but that would still say you mainly looked at the face and then tried to find something to comment on. Which is great, because that's what I've told many, many guys here to do, but making the initial contact the exact same starting line that every other guy uses is just... trite. I'd advise dropping that. It says "I match based on your looks", even if you find something to comment on. Also, since your religion is important to you, make sure you're matched in that. A lot of women here in the states will see that and assume you'll want a very traditional woman, and will not match with you based on that. Also, some religious groups have gone insane so if you aren't part of that particular cult (if that is offensive you probably are, sorry, not sorry) you might want to be reassuring about it.
