18dDrawing inner selves
I'd like to offer people to join me in drawing aspects of their personality. The explanation of the details can be a bit long, please, bear with me;) There are many stories where different aspects of a person's personality have a conversation inside their head. Each story desides differently which parts of a person to represent. Can be different stages of one's life, key aspects, different emotions... But in most stories there are let's say up to 6 personalities. Lately I've read a webtoon where a person's mind is represented with dozens of characters ("Yumi's cells", available to read online). There is a cute chibi character for everything, from the things most important to you to a hobby you picked for a week a few years back and didn't touch since. The more dominant is the aspect in your life, the more power it has. A chibi that represents something really important (maybe your relationships with loved ones? your main talent?) or something that just affects you a lot regardless of you wanting it to or not (maybe some specific emotion? a bad habit?) is way stronger than the rest. All those tiny people interact on a daily basis, either helping eachother or arguing. I think it can be fun to draw some of those. Since there are lots, nobody has to reveal too much about themselves in their drawings (unless digging deeper does sound appealing to you;) ). They can choose to draw something not secret/significant. I offer you to look up the comic, to get a better understanding of the concept, but here are some examples of a "cells" (the idea is that each chibi is a "brain cell") that can be inside a person (different people can of course have different ones): -Rational cell (logic, common sense) -Emotional cell (your true emotions, quick emotional reaction to things, even if only internal) -Love cell (in charge of being in touch with everything you love, be that people, places, hobbies or work, works differently for different people) -Hunger cell (one that reminds you to eat) -Inner peace cell (one that offers you to breathe or count to ten when something stressful happens) -Curiousity cell (one that urges you to ask questions/learn or figure out things) -Activity (writing/singing/coding...) cell (there can be many each in charge of some activity/talent) And many, many more. So who's with me? Would you like to draw some aspect of yourself? Which one? Here is my vision for my rational and emotional aspects (got to say, that the emotional is in a good mood here, of course she changes her behaviour quite a bit with the mood). I've made a few more, but I don't think I'm going to post all of them. Now it's your turn to draw something:) I'd like to see what you come up with;) (edited)
