Introspection & Reflection. ✨

Everytime you ask yourself do they like me? ask yourself do you really like them? Everytime you ask yourself do they think I’m attractive, ask yourself am i working on myself? Everytime you think do they want me? will they take care of me? ask yourself how can i better take care of myself? And so everything you want from someone else, give it to yourself first. A self reminder to myself and ya’ll. ✨🎯💯💙✨ Cr: @JayShetty

I love your posts, very self reflective. Sometimes it's good to reflect, just don't overdo it 😅

What do you do with the answer? Is it relevant whether you like them, or is why you like them, or why them liking you is important to you more relevant to learning about yourself? I was gonna see how i feel about each one of them and write, but main thing that keeps repeating is every time you go with "if this comes to your mind, just ask this instead", you are repressing the part of you that is insecure, that is coming up with those questions. That is not the way to move past something. If you think about others, whether they like you, whether you want them to care for you, whether they want you, understanding why your mind goes there is far more important than just asking yourself a different question, from what I've learned and observed. I know the post is meant to be "positive" and encourage that perspective. But a lot of times in doing that, all we do is ignore the "negative". And that is suppression of something that your mind is bringing to you in the form of those thoughts. That's why positive and negative are mostly harmful categorisations when it comes to feelings and thoughts. (edited)
