Hmmm 🤔
It's wild to think that there are people in this world with perceptions of you. People you've never met. People you don't necessarily interact with regularly or have any kind of a relationship with. People that are just out there forming opinions of you based on silly little comments you've made on this silly little app. Are there any users that randomly cross your mind even when you're not on the platform? Do you ever think "I haven't seen *whoever* post in a while, hope they're ok"? Do you smile when you see certain people comment? We often think of other people, even briefly, but leave ourselves out of that equation because surely there's nobody that thinks of *me* outside of an active conversation, right? Odds are, if you're thinking of strangers, strangers are probably thinking of you at some point as well, which is super weird to think about. I feel like we should share with each other those simple "hey I was wondering about you the other day" kinds of thoughts more often and bring ourselves closer to each other, even if only for a moment and only through these silly little screens

All the facts. And what's more is when people allow those frivolous little opinions to bother them as though these shadow people hold something over them. On the other hand, I do reach out to those who cross my mind when it occurs. Sometimes, I wait for replies, though. 😬🥲

Also.... if I can consider this a safe space... I'm struggling. I'm carrying a ton of weight with very little help and no local friends. I know it would mean a ton to hear "this made me think of you" because then I wouldn't feel like I'm becoming invisible. I imagine I'm not alone in this.
