Need help understanding
Gal I met on here, lives 1.5 hrs away, green compatibility, many similar interests; We have a two hour chat session first night. She indicated early on that she doesn't think we'll go any further than friends. Told her I was fine with that. We keep chatting for several days. We share pet names and pics, our life circumstances, all the get-to-know-you stuff. She even inspired me to go beyond strength exercises and take up jogging again (she jogs). After day 3, she goes silent after talking about joining an upcoming mud race and obstacle course. My final comment to her was an inquiry about what a mud race was. Google thought it was a motorsport, so I told her I was surprised she was into motorsports and how fun it sounded. About 1.5 days later she playfully responds it's not a motorsport. I responded that Google told me so. I also stated I was entering Knott's Berry Farm with son and wouldn't be on much that day (she already knew I had son every other weekend). When we got home, she was no longer on my list. I'm assuming she blocked me. Background info: She has 160+ followers and no posts/comments. She's a cashier, formerly employed at a Realty firm. She works evening shifts. She lives with father, sister and brother. No kids. Dirt backyard. She tried grass, but dog and brother would never pick up after his parties with band, so she let it go back to dirt. I shared pics of my front and back yards (gardenscapes). I mentioned my sis has a farm with a petting zoo and that one day I'd maybe show it to her. I shared a pic of me and son at Knott's. That was last reply I sent to her. Didn't think anything was going wrong with our back and forth convo. Was surprised to find she had blocked. Anyone have some insight into what went wrong? She just wanted to be friends. I thought we were accomplishing that. I found her fascinating and a joy to chat with.

I think a lot of people get spooked when it comes to the point of actually meeting in person. It seems good when it's far away, but as it approaches it feels like too much. It's hard going from online to in person even if you have a connection. And then I think some people don't know how to express that besides just try to not talk about meeting anymore or unmatching.

This scenario of being removed on your list of chats isn't uncommon on this App. It could either be a glitch like we all suspect or she blocked you. I am sure she would probably be feeling thesame and wondering what happened to you all conversation that's assuming she did not block you. From your prior conversation, it's seems like you guys have been getting along well. It could beba glitch. I have encountered thesame issue in the past and so have others. So it not unique to you alone.
