No love relationship is guaranteed to last

A few months ago, it was clear from the first day that a girl was seeking a romantic relationship. Clearer than this, a boyfriend. After a couple of dates, she decided not to continue the relationship with a good communication since ghosting is in vogue nowadays, disregarding the emotional harm it causes to the other person and the affective irresponsibility. However, some of this, as always, remained under my analysis. A romantic relationship with someone is not assured overnight. And what do I mean by this? Well, feeling that the person is not assured, that we could lose them, is something that must be present for a relationship to stay alive. It's part of the fuel that keeps us from falling into a boring routine because, don't we notice how with friends or acquaintances, when we know they are (or were) on the brink of a breakup, desperate things emerge? Impromptu vacations, some new outing, something out of the ordinary? This happens very often. What is clear today is that, in the form of resumes and human resources in a world of social networks, speed, and anxiety, people want to try to find out if someone is a good candidate not only on a dating app profile or on a night out at a bar. And the reality is that under this, the inertia of today's capitalism dominates: efficiency, fast, wasting time among several things that can be cited as how they have impacted people when it comes to meeting someone. Being 2024 with tools that should (I wonder, should they?) guarantee us a higher level of connection, we have never been so disconnected and lonely. My advice? Enjoy getting to know someone gradually, and at the first thing you don't like, take it like... a college degree or a job. Not everything is rosy, there will always be something you don't like. But maybe one thing you don't like about someone is worth it for 20 things you do like. Daniel 🇦🇷🇮🇹
