When do you decide to message a match on any dating app? If I like someone first and they match with me, I'll message first, but if it's the other way round I usually wait. I feel that whoever ‘completes the match’ should message, since they’re the one currently online. Just makes sense. I don’t do a lot of swiping in general, so that means I’m usually the one to ‘complete the match’ and message first. I don’t mind it, but the endless unanswered message or lack of effort in conversation does take a mental toll. Repeated close-ended replies tell you that someone is either not interested or not interesting - neither works for long lasting connections.

Depends on how well I think me and the chic match. As I go thru the dating section on here, and I see all my favorites interests are there, and they have a bio to read and a few other notes.. Chances are, I'm sending a message. If it's someone that I feel I don't match well with but they are atleast attractive (to me) and nearby, I'll probably only send them a like. Ita cuz I don't believe theirs an initial chemistry, and that if they see something on my profile (I'm very detailed) then they can use that as a link to get my attention and we can go from there. What's that saying.. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained."
