Is everyone on here an introvert? I feel like it's incredibly difficult to meet people in the real world because everything is geared towards an extroverted way of living. I had great fun last night, sat in a pub for about 5 hours with a friend, we talked very little, spent most of the time doing cross stitch activities and just existing quietly in the same space. I've tried joining local groups for certain hobbies but my schedule isn't consistent so I can't go frequently and feel guilty for missing sessions frequently. I enjoy sports and go to a Saturday morning tennis class but no one is particularly chatty. I like talking, I enjoy meeting people and seeing where life takes me. I just don't want to be the centre of attention, life of the party, loud as brass to achieve that.

Yes you don't have to. Just be yourself and you will meet similar people. Also people that are interested in you. Going out and meeting new people is one way but very difficult. I tried it. I think a lot of peolle here are introverts. I can totally relate though 😅 It's quite rare for me to make friends outside work since I tend to keep to myself. I genuinely think this app can help you make friends. Sometimes you just have to take the initiative and reach out to people first. Not everyone is gonna reciprocate, that's just how online things work, but keep trying!

you got this a bit wrong. Introverts just need alone time to recharge, they can be social. Extroverts need time with people to recharge. Another thing - extroverts like to initiate the conversations and topics, introverts prefer responding. Still, you have the 5 sides of the mind, so you got 2 extrovert personalities that you can use (ESFJ subconscious, ENTJ unconscious) - just by doing so you are discharging, so as I said you need your alone time in your INTP ego to recharge. that's all, no real difficulty here. Communication is just a skill that can be improved :)

For introverts, uaually the best chance to get to know someone is your job/university or something that literally requires communication to get things done. Group activity. It's easier to start a conversation, cause you have a goal - you need to discuss a job that you need to be done. For now you don't need to ask about each others interests, hobbies. You got the convo started, you talk to the person. It's official for now, but official can become unofficial. I'm introvert, but i get to know people easily at my job or uni, while i ask about study/job things.
