I was adopted at birth and kept secret from my birth family aside from my brother and sister. I grew up far more privileged than my siblings, and in far better health. I had a single home to their many. My birth mother explained to me when I was a teenager, that I was an accident, that she couldn't bare to have me aborted, and that she would've rather suffered herself in not raising me than to have either killed me or to have failed to raise a third child. And after hearing that, couldn't possibly feel any other way than I do now. I'm just thankful that I'm alive today.

Me as an European: Why is this even a discussion? We rarely think about it. Pro-choice is mostly consensus nowadays here, except for super religious countries like Poland. Personally I'd just subscribe to what Levi said

I have been on both sides of the aisle before and I am very very pro choice. I believe in bodily autonomy and that people should have the rights over their own bodies and what they choose to do with them and who is and isn’t allowed to use them. I feel like people often time’s trivialize pregnancy and make it seem like it’s not a big deal and that it’s only “9 months” but pregnancy itself is life altering and those effects can last a life time. Which is something that people should have the choice in deciding whether or not they wish to go through with that. I also firmly support science and there’s so much scientific evidence that’s in support of safe abortion practices and what happens when abortion is made illegal is documented in both scientific communities but historically too
