So a troll tried to troll me but it did got me thinking about something. You sometimes see post from me or anyone else where they try to find a specific gender for their interests yeah? Is it a minority or a majority of you who find these offensive? And how many of you pretend it's just "something to laugh at"? Lol hoping my new friend shows up so we'd have another chance at a more serious talk. But regardless. I had assumed all this time this was a dating app so I just assumed such questions were valid, but if a majority of you don't think so, I may need to revise the way I think of this app.

I dont find it offensive generally but I'm not likely to respond to those. If someone is specifically asking for women, I assume they're looking to date which is fine but I'm not. & if they're asking for just dudes to play with obv I won't respond for a variety of reasons lol. Here's the thing though: even if I were looking to date, "looking for a female to play video games with" comes across as super low-effort to me. Like any woman could fit the role. Which, if friends or just playing a few rounds with a random? No biggie. But that isn't the case here. You'd be better served browsing profiles and sending custom DMs to women who indicate that they like gaming. Asking questions about it and showing interest and getting to know them and then extend a relevant invite.
