It's been a decade or more since I last had a cigarette. They just stopped tasting good so I quit.

One day I was having my normal routine cigarette I looked down at it and I thought To myself what am I getting or gaining out Of these? And I took another drag what is the Benefits and why do I smoke anyway ????? and I looked at it again with about 3 puffs Left. Said this is the last one. No more and Started to walk back in to resume work a coe worker was walking outside. "You got another Cigarette" ?? I handed her a almost full pack "Are you serious ' That was 4 years ago I feel Better now..

I quit on thanksgiving weekend of 2021. I had recently lost my wife to lung cancer and it was stupid expensive!! Some months we spent more on cigarettes than the mortgage payment!!

I get it..when they say "it looks cool" but no... I've never been influenced by others or peer pressure. Don't smoke and ask people not to smoke near me.. Although, I've had some, leisurely, tobacco products but nothing, to depend on, that makes it a lifestyle (Shisha/hookah).. (edited)

In my whole life I've Learned "anything can be a vice or an addiction", and idk if I'm immune to most, I've tried smoking and it doesn't give me the feeling that other's do, and drinking is occasional because I get break outs, to me vices can be easily stopped, because the real addiction is trying to find how to live live to the fullest.✨ (edited)

Well done 👏👏 I’ve also quit smoking for roughly a year now. My red flag: I was no longer able to climb stairs or walk a reasonable distance without running out of breath. It was hard during the first month. I actually had to change my whole morning routine to make myself forget about smoking. Now, I sleep better, I actually smell good, and I’m able to experience so many scents in a way that feels magical (yes, that’s the best word to describe it).

Never picked it up just never felt the need or want. I've had a cigarette and I'm completely neutral to it. It wasn't so gross I threw up but not a blissful release either, just hot smoke going in and out.
