(In hindsight, I should have made it a double)

I submitted the first 4,876 words of a novel to a "novel beginnings" contest a few weeks back. Then I read over it today ... and yikes. I reworked it too, too much. Meanwhile, I have a different piece of writing that's decent that I totally could've submitted. Ooops!

I've mentioned why I don't date anymore, but it really boils down to a basic truth that time is a non-replenishable resource for us humans. Once gone, it's gone. Dating requires genuine intention for the participants to commit their time. The less time you have, the more you look for those genuine… read more

Often when learning my birth natal chart the past few years, I've felt more understood and known by what I've discovered than by most humans I've thought I've been close to. It's comforting, and leads me to learn more. Seeing the jokes people make or insults about those who "believe" in it, … read more

Moving back into my parents’ home wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The house felt alive and warm (mainly because the heating was on, whereas I’d rather freeze). I had my siblings to talk to and play video games with. I definitely had more respect for my parents — living on your own does that… read more

The more I'm on here, the more I find other people list interests that I never thought were a thing here. Sometimes they're already my interests too so I add them in hindsight 🤫
So many twists. So many different faces. Epilogue was awesome. In hindsight didn't notice the first cameo but jumping to the second cameo aka prequel for a Bountiful Harvest.

Hindsight can be a blurry lense

I recently had a go of making some coconut macaroons with strawberry inside. In hindsight I should have used fresh instead of freeze dried ones 😅

Perhaps I'm a bit too earnest, and it's better not to respond quite so sincerely, when it's uncertain thats what people are looking for. There are times when being optimistic, or trying to console people, makes them angry instead of helping them legitimately feel better. Or a rhetorical question is… read more
So, I recently checked the portfolio and discovered an unexpected interest in a company doing deliveries by electric bike. 300% over a week, following Iran war. Thinking about it, makes sense with the increasing diesel-prices maybe, but that was in hindsight ... Anyone experience anything… read more
There is a lesson I have learned over the years that failed me but may help others that learn from it Never give someone what they want I asked if they wanted me to leave them alone they say yes and I go through hell because of it, being autistic didn't/doesn't help as it felt personal and I… read more
What feels hidden, tangled, or unfair right now is still in motion, still unfolding. Not everything needs immediate answers; some things only make sense in hindsight, when distance turns chaos into pattern. Sometimes you become the one who understands, because you’ve changed enough to see… read more
I’m thankful for everyone who has crossed the same path I’ve been walking since my journey following the goddesses, even when they ended badly. I’ve done a lot of self reflection an realized I was holdin on too long to some connections that should have ended but hindsight is always a post thought.… read more
Starting a new shadow work book, and feel I'm in the right place emotionally to make good use of it's journal prompts without fear of my emotions getting out of my control. It's taken me a long time to get here, and I can understand why I wasn't ready to go further before. In hindsight, … read more

A truly surprising beer, in hindsight though, I should have known based on the name and 7%
In hindsight it turns out bright yellow suits don’t work well as camouflage.
It’s been about four months since my breakup, and things didn't stay amicable like we'd planned. After 300+ km of nature walks and some therapy, I've had a huge realization, especially when it comes to communication. My ex was practicing self-preservation for their mental well-being, and honestly,… read more
I've been made single very recently, and I'm not doing well. I noticed very quickly afterwards that I'd given up most of my friends for my partner and now that I'm alone, I'm very much alone. Hindsight is 20/20 so I'm really kicking myself for focusing on an unhealthy relationship and letting my… (edited) read more
If you put Gaming, anime, movies, music or food in your bio, it is a go to conversation starter for most people who come across your profile. Which in hindsight is cool, right? Like of course, discuss the things a person loves create a bond. But part of me wonders, what is underneath the surface.… read more

This has been weighing on me heavily. I had really strong feelings for a friend, and I always knew he didn’t see me in the way I seen him, and he didn’t want to deal with my feelings for him, so he eventually ghosted me. Telling him how I truely felt and how I truely saw him felt so selfish and… read more

If there was one thing you could tell 15yo you from the you today, what would it be? Mine is "Don't marry young."
If we were to do it again, with the level of maturity and experience as we had back then, we would still make the same choices as before. Therefore, try to reconcile with yourself.
What is the first song that hit you hardest? Do you remember why? Does it give you nostalgia or have your feelings changed in hindsight?
Hindsight is 20/20.

I'm not proud of how I treated some people lately. I forgot how they stuck with me and were there for me for years... Me "evolving" and suddenly thinking that ruthless elimination means discarding people who suddenly don't fit into your new life and mindset may seem intuitive, but there's a better… read more

Filling the dog with helium might not have been the best idea...

Evolution is never ending

The kindest person I know is my mother. She has shown rather incredible feats of kindness from taking in homeless people, probably wasn't thr wisest idea in hindsight, and very frequently stopping to help people on the side of the road. Perhaps that is why of all the 7 virtues I admire those who… read more
