My parents sometimes get mad at me when I point out that their body language doesn’t correlate with what they’re saying and tell me not to make assumptions. But I can’t help reading their body language and worrying about inconsistencies. Anyone else have this issue?

I thought I was the only one that did that for the longest time! I always watch body language and when something the person says doesn't match their body language, I call the person out on it and then they feel like I cornered them. Not intentional of course but it could get annoying for those we interact with. 🤷‍♀️
