Of course. I simply could not be led to believe that "once we are gone we simply just see black?" Like end of the movie? There's nothing after? Life is a gift and no matter the form that it's given I don't think there will ever be a "blackout" nothing after your story.

There's gotta be something after death, our brain is just unpredictably smart and mysterious i don't think it would let your whole consciousness dissapear. There's gotta be a reason why brain last for 30 secs after someone has died.
