Look, someone is looking for a relationship, somebody is looking to shag, others are just looking for friends or even just for some time killing. You go on tinder and what you find is either guys who totally just want to have sex or girls who pretend like they're trying to hide they just want sex, for the most part. But people who are looking for relationships, don't stick around on tinder when they found one. Of course the former group is move evident - not even necessarily bigger in numbers, I believe it's people who have had matches, so Tinder's algorithm puts them in front more often, because it helps showing adds. And lots of people who are not looking for hooking up, are simply not on tinder. If you're not looking for ons, that might be for the best. But consider before tinder there were clubs that worked the same way, you dance with someone you'd swiped right and see how it goes. I think this mentality is the product of an echo chamber apps like this or r/tinder keep inflating, not a real phenomenon. Millennials and zoomers are the most educated generations that ever lived, I don't really think we're that shallow!
