Suggestions for Co-op

Question

I just got a PC and reactivated my steam account! I need some suggestions on some co-op games I can get. I don't play games like Halo, CoD, or anything like that, so other than Minecraft does anyone have any good suggestions??? I also have an Xbox so suggestions on either platform welcome! (Including game pass)

Work together: Chained together, it takes two, trine

Local Co-op or online?

When you look at GamePass sometimes one of the Categories will be "Local Co-op and Multiplayer".

But I'm not sure if they've all got online Co-op as well though.

I love co op so I'll give a nice varied list of ones I can think of that sound fitting :o Raft, Grounded, Sons of the Forest, Outlast Trials, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Minecraft Dungeons, Palworld, Monster Hunter World, Powerwash Simulator, No Man's Sky,  Astroneer, Cube World, Saints Row 4.

"Don't Starve Together" is quite fun with others (and a bit easier on your stress levels 😋). I am a fan of "7 Days to Die" multiplayer as well, or "Raft". All the suggestions here are pretty good, though. You have much to choose from! 😊

I liked playing these co-op games with friends on pc: 
Farming: Stardew valley 
Survival: green heel, dont starve together, The forest (raft also seems fun according to my friends but I havent had the chance to play it yet)
Puzzles: pico park (most fun if you're with a bigger group)

Baldur's Gate 3 is a lot of fun with friends. Palworld also a good one and just got a big update and is on game pass. A lot of people also really like Dead by Daylight although i personally lost interest in the game.

It is all dependent on what you enjoy, maybe dip your feet into a few different games, start out with the popular ones, especially if they’re cheap or free! Valorant for shooters, perhaps Overwatch? Stardew Valley is quite good
