Frankenstein, Dracula, Jane Eyre, The Haunting of Hill House, are just a few examples but you can find more online. As for music, some typical bands people recommend are Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, Depeche Mode, London After Midnight, Bauhaus, etc. You should be able to find more bands by looking up a 'Baby Bats' Playlist. A baby bat being a new or starting out goth Ofc. A lot of these recommendations can be found w a simple Google search, or by finding goth people either irl (a Task) or befriending them in online spaces. A more experienced goth person can help you find bands you'd enjoy more given your specific taste, as well as recommend books more to your taste.

One of the fundamental parts of being goth is simply listening to the music. Everyone assumes it's the clothing or the attitude, but it's really mainly music. More options of enjoying gothic things is reading books that could be considered of said genre. There's also many subcategories to being goth, but generally I'd just recommend starting out slowly yknow?
