Jack of All Trades

Ever get that feeling like there is more you could be doing, as far as work goes? I build computers, I'm a handyman, I do hvac, I trained to be an EMT, I can sew, cook, clean, make costumes, and live a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise and it shows. Yet, after 13 years in the workforce, I am just a handyman at a hospital making 18 dollars an hour. I feel like there's more I could be doing with my life than this... I can do so many things, but just the basics, so I get paid accordingly. Jack of all trades, master of none.

Indeed. Usually, people work to get paid and keep on living, as their Governments want. Question is... Is that really living? Not enough of us, thinking this, have spoken. And so, this economic and political system is allowed to go on. I'm just a small writer for now, I don't get paid enough to do what I'd love to be doing: travelling the world, writing as I go, experiencing places, people, cultures, different from my own. Hell, I'd love to live on a boat and do this while sailing! xD I'm somewhat outside the system, for I could still work where I wanted and I'm not paid monthly but, indeed, it's not yet enough. I have a house and I'm single, so I... don't move and keep on working here; money enough to live, pay for food, lights, water and taxes. It's kinda sad, certainly. I don't feel free. (edited)
