I hate this façade, the idea that you just don't need anyone, you should never trust anyone, never lean on anyone, never let anyone close to you, and as such, you don't need to be any better, no one should trust you, or let you close to them. This idea that connects, attachments, relationships are inherently unhealthy, and to be avoided,... this idea that no one cares, because no one is expected to....... ...this mentality is just rotting society like a cancer.... Biologically, animalistic-(ly?), and spiritually, we, by nature, are meant to connect with each other, work together, support each other, learn from each other. The idea that you just don't need anyone, and no one needs you, is one of the worst lies I've seen take over like a plague. People who accept this, stop growing, don't even try to be someone worth having in others lives, cause all they care about is themselves, and they encourage others to only care about themselves, leading to a society where, guess what, no one cares, and everyone is stabbing each other in the back, betraying each other, using each other,... it's a self fulfilling ideology that by insisting no one cares, and you shouldn't either, eventually everyone stops caring, and it becomes you against the world, with no one you can turn to.... This is simply not how things are supposed to be, we have empathy, and compassion for a reason. We have the capacity to care, and get attached, because were better than crabs, who will literally eat each other, and even they're young without a care.... ...or maybe society is just devolving, until we literally tear it apart completely....... ...bottom line, if you believe you're just better off on your own, and no one cares, you don't need anyone, then really, you're just too weak to face the fact that you could be better, and too afraid of getting hurt to give someone a chance to actually be there for you. You're weak, alone, and delusional, and honestly, if that's your choice, then I don't care what you think, cause you already decided that I don't matter before you ever gave me a chance.👍 To be fair, give yourself a reality check. There's no reason you can't be a better person than this. Be a better friend, someone who dares to care, and is worth caring for. Either you're offended because I'm right, or you realize you can learn, and better yourself.
