Why are there days when you feel beautiful and unstoppable, and then there are days when you feel completely useless and would rather be alone?

When you're trying to memorize the spelling of acute accents in Czech, which words have them and where they're placed, and the Czechs just don't care about any of that and write without any accented letters

It's a whole other skill to be able to understand Czech when it's written like that (upraveno)

Loneliness

I used to think loneliness meant having no one around. Turns out, it’s much more… creative than that. You can be surrounded by people, conversations, notifications, “How are you?” texts… and still feel like you're the only real person in the room.
