I used to hold an initial assumption that everyone's decision is always right/ correct no matter what type of mode, background or mbti they are from so mostly simply answer "Yes" and rarely "No" because most people are a bit hard to accept "No" as an answer. It is wise if the person know that if the culture never change since the beginning of ancient time, there is a high possibility the culture never been studied or research. Most people are very concern about other people's type of relationship (either femme, asexual, heteronormative and etc) at the workplace instead of just fully focus on the task given.
