Saint Petersburg Trip

I’m planning to visit Saint Petersburg in January. Is it dangerous for Koreans, or is there any risk? I’ve heard on YouTube that Russia can be quite racist—should I be concerned? Also, do you have any recommended foods, and what is the weather like in January?
