Omg! I'm so excited to have the first Madman TPB! Def buying volume 2 when I get paid and waiting for volume 3. Man, is it heavy! My wrist started hurting holding it in my right hand to read, lol. 
I've been a huge Madman fan since I found about about it in a random free comic with snippets of different series. I also recently finally got the shirt I've been dreaming of since I was a kid! ❤️

Light weekend reading.

As promised, here is Birdie from Survival Street! She is my second favorite and how can she not be? She is a kindhearted bad-ass! She sees the best in others, even in a dying world filled with cruelty. I freaking love her. ♡

I freaking love the comic Survival Street and Gurgle is absolutely the best character. I mean, just look at her. She is the best hero ♡

Also, while you can't really see her in this picture, Birdie is also amazing. Absolutely love these two. I'll post Birdie later because of course I just have to.

the Burton Batman universe. 🥰 

Between the John Jackson Miler books that bridge 89 and Returns, to the follow up to Returns done in the comics…I’m truly blown away by how far we’ve gotten to see this universe grow over the last few years.

This is still my favorite Batman in live action, and the continues have been nothing short of a wonderful addition to that universe. I’m so glad they exist!￼

Further, I love getting more time to know Selina, and the use of Riddler and Clayface by Miller are just exceptional! I also think the expansion on the Gordon and Batman relationship in the books is really, really well handled. I’m genuinely so happy that they’ve found a way to keep Keaton’s Batman alive a little longer for fans. I’d love to see animated adaptations one day. Maybe Gunn will consider it.￼
